About The Overlook
The Overlook is a luxurious sub-division found inside McDowell Mountain Ranch. The Overlook community was developed by Ryland Homes. Ryland Homes was one of the largest homebuilders in the USA. In October 2015, the company merged with Standard Pacific Homes to form CalAtlantic Homes. In February 2018, the company was acquired by Lennar.
When Overlook was introduced in 1995, pricing began at $177,900. Currently prices range from just under $500,000 on up into the $700,000’s. Homes with the best views and largest lots have the highest values.
Overlook offers 5 different floor plans, 3 single-level and 2 multi-level. These floor plans range in size from 1,648 sq. feet to 2,615 sq. feet. Each model was offered in two different exterior “elevations” and also had a number of customizable exterior options. These exterior options give the community a unique and varied look.
Overlook can be found near the center of MMR. It is located between the Paradise Lane Community Center and MMR Information center. Overlook offers easy access to the pathways leading to Desert Canyon Schools and athletic fields. It is also near the community pool, spa, and tennis courts.
